The project explores the construction site as the performative moment of architecture - and the gravest non-military intervention in the urban fabric. It is based on a theoretical discussion on the destabilizing effects of construction works, mitigation strategies, and emerging public controversies. At the same time, we perform an intervention in the construction site ourselves. When the popular seating pedestal of the Glyptothek in Munich disappears behind a construction fence, we kidnap this piece of public space to place it outside of the construction site. The project maps the following months of political engagement with the construction site.
