The essay and installation project SiedlungsRequiem dives into the psychopathologies of the housing issue. It portrays the ideological relationship between "Siedung" and "Gemeinschaft" as a failing Gesamtkunstwerk: A columbarium proclaims the productive farewell. An altar depicts melancholic but erotic housing utopias. A monumental Monopoly board represents the property issue, while the machinery of modernity races in circles. The project was accompanied by an event series: drinking for the requiem, eating for community and monopoly playing for the property.
